Clinical research studies are the primary way that researchers use to determine if a new treatment like a medication, diet or device is safe and effective in treating or diagnosing disease in patients. These studies are conducted under rigorous guidelines.
Participating in research can be a rewarding experience. Not only do you have access to leading healthcare professionals, potentially cutting-edge treatments and high standards of care, you are also helping to bring new, safe and effective treatments and cures to patients around the world. Plus, as a research study participant, you will learn more about your medical condition empowering you to take charge of your health.
Care Access Research has partnered with physician practices across multiple disciplines so that we can bring research as a care option to local communities. It is possible that many physicians in your area or your own doctor are already offering research as a care option to their patients through a partnership with us. When your physician is active in clinical research, you can continue to be under his or her care while participating. This adds a level of comfort and peace of mind to patients.
To participate in clinical research, you must meet specific eligibility criteria. These criteria or characteristics must be shared by all participants to ensure that the outcome of the trial is due to what is being studied and no other factors. If you do not meet all of the criteria, you will not be allowed to participate. But don’t worry. New research study opportunities become available frequently. To be considered for future studies, complete this database registry form so that we may contact you when new studies are available.
